introducing euca design
Welcome to Euca Design. The name is a nod to my maiden name, which means “leaves” in Chinese, and is rooted in sustainable fiber art that aims to bring balance, connection, and rejuvenation into your home.
I worked closely with my graphic designer (s/o to Maddie @madelinewiggins.co!) to make sure each part of my brand has intentionality behind it. Let’s explore it all together:
In the logo, you will notice a hand drawn eucalyptus branch- this is the center of my brand as a reminder to preserve the earth and guides my decisions for sourcing materials. You will notice the majority of my work involves upcycled textiles I’ve sourced secondhand to give it another life, and I am careful to use reused and recyclable materials in my packaging.
The sunburst represents hope for brighter days and mimics the look of a warped hoop before weaving onto it- potential for beautiful things to come. I wanted Euca to grow with me as an artist and future creative endeavors to come. My branding colors come directly from pieces I’ve made, which is so special!
Going through the rebrand process this year has really given me the chance to reflect on the personal stretching and growth that has come. This brand, while new, is really an extension of me and the work. It’s taken months to get from a dream and goal to reality. Endless thank yous to everyone who has supported me so far (whether online or in real life-- I appreciate you)!
