The progression of this collection has come at a slow and steady pace with bursts of inspiration— kind of like the progression of fall. The changes that take place in nature during time of year reflect a lot of the changes in our lives too: honoring our needs, letting go of the things that don’t serve us anymore, preparing for winter, transitioning between seasons and the beauty that comes, and finding joy in all of that.
Dappled Light 05: measures 10.5” in diameter from edge to edge of hoop
Materials: coffee, merino wool, ink, watercolor, vintage wool, and natural pigments on canvas framed in a vintage embroidery hoop
To display: simply slip onto a nail between hardware at the top, or lean against a wall
*Finished with a top coat of varnish to protect against UV rays and dust. To clean, carefully wipe down with damp cloth. Do not scrub.
